Societe Generale’s Global Transaction & Payment Services awarded Greenwich Share Leader, Greenwich Quality Leader & Greenwich Excellence 2024

Coalition Greenwich is one of the world's leading providers of strategic benchmarking, analysis and information for the financial services sector. Every year, clients vote for the best providers in cash and liquidity management, foreign exchange and trade finance of the year in different geographies, through the “Greenwich Share Leader”, “Greenwich Quality Leader” and “Greenwich Excellence” awards.
In the first quarter of 2024, Societe Generale won a series of French and European awards for its Cash Management, foreign exchange (forex) and Trade finance activities with large European companies:
-    Greenwich Excellence 2024 in the categories Large Corporate Cash Management and European Large Corporate Banking;
-    Greenwich Quality leader 2024 in France in the categories Large Corporate Cash Management and Large Corporate Banking;
-    Greenwich Share leader 2024, #2 in France in the categories Large Corporate Cash Management, Large Corporate Trade Finance and Large Corporate Banking.

In 2023, Societe Generale was also awarded by Coalition Greenwich in the “Market Share Leader” categories, winning the 2nd place for international Trade Finance for large European companies.

1 2024 Excellence Award: Coalition Greenwich conducted 849 interviews with financial leaders (CFOs, CFOs and Group Treasurers) at companies and financial institutions with sales exceeding €500 million, including 345 with sales of at least €2 billion. An additional 931 interviews were conducted with corporate cash management decision makers, including 382 with a turnover of at least €2 billion. In addition, 175 interviews were conducted with foreign exchange policymakers, mainly treasurers. Interviews were conducted across Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. Interviews were conducted from July to December 2023. Topics discussed included the credit capacity of banks, national and cross-border advisory capacity, and the quality of institutional and relationship management. Cash and foreign exchange management capacities were examined in separate interviews with corporate treasurers.
