Expertise and quality of service in Cash Management have been recognized this year again by clients


Our clients value Societe Generale's cash management services, which were awarded the title of ‘Market Leader' in France as part of Euromoney's annual survey 2019.

Ranked second last year, Societe Generale Global Transaction Banking's cash management activities regained their number one position in France.

The Euromoney Cash Management Survey is a yearly client poll conducted by the British magazine Euromoney among corporate and financial institutions. Respondents worldwide are asked to indicate their top providers of cash management, and separately to offer detailed customer satisfaction rankings of providers based on their delivery of essential services. Over 25,000 valid responses have been received for the 2019 survey, generating the survey's ‘market leader' and ‘best service' rankings.

    • Strong positions in Africa, alongside our corporate clients

    Supporting companies and entrepreneurs in Africa is at the heart of Société Générale's development. In Africa, Societe Generale's expertise is recognised by our clients: our Cash Management activities maintain their number two position.

    At the local level, Societe Generale maintains its leadership position in Guinea and Cameroon and wins first place in Morocco. Satisfaction also in Algeria, where Societe Generale's cash management activities consolidated their second place acquired last year.

    • An increase in Central and Eastern Europe in the rankings on our target markets, where Societe Generale is ranked third, gaining three places compared to last year. At the local level, our corporate clients rank us in the top 2:

    - Romania (BRD): ranked #2

    -Russia (Rosbank): ranked #2

    The quality of our services is also recognized in the Euromoney's new ‘Best service‘ awards. Societe Generale is ranked first at local level in Cameroon and Guinea.

    Financial institutions have not been left out since Societe Generale ranks n° 3 in the African market and n°4 in Western Europe for its clearing in euros.
