Societe Generale awarded by Global Finance

We are pleased to announce that Societe Generale won seven awards during the 22nd annual World’s Best Trade Finance Providers and the 15th annual World’s Best Supply Chain Finance Providers organised by Global Finance. 

The Group was named Regional winner as Best Trade Finance Provider in Africa.

Most of all, Societe Generale has been awarded by the editorial board of Global Finance in the following countries: 

•    Algeria (Societe Generale Algeria)
•    Burkina Faso (Societe Generale Burkina Faso)
•    Cameroon (Societe Generale Cameroun)
•    Romania (BRD)
•    Senegal (Societe Generale Senegal)
•    Tunisia (UIB)            

The editorial board of Global Finance selected the best trade finance providers based on entries from banks and other providers, as well as input from industry analysts, corporate executives and technology experts. Criteria for choosing the winners included transaction volume, scope of global coverage, customer service, competitive pricing and innovative technology. 

These awards demonstrate Societe Generale’s recognised expertise and capacity serve its clients successfully in trade finance activities.

Branches in Algeria, Cameroon and Romania have been named for the fifth consecutive year.
