On 15 March 2018, many of you joined Societe Generale teams at Studios Harcourt in Paris to discuss key topics for our industry including intraday liquidities issues, the European Instant Payment market and the challenge of cybersecurity with the experts.
The Director of Societe Generale Group’s Intraday Liquidities programme opened the event by sharing his experience as a project director in the field at the banking group level, highlighting the issues and stakeholders involved.
Societe Generale’s Interbank Relations Manager then presented an overview of instant payment on the European market, a review of the regulatory framework, and a summary of the key advances made in each country.
Cybersecurity then got in-depth treatment: a presentation by SWIFT reviewed the challenges and outlines of the Customer Security Programme. The Deputy Security Manager of Societe Generale Group closed by sharing Societe Generale’s cybersecurity organisation and priorities.
Participants then enjoyed more informal discussions in the very Parisian setting of Studios Harcourt, a famous French photography studio.
