With the start of the Ukraine war and its wide-ranging effects on global food, metals and energy markets, commodities took front and centre stage last year. As the energy transition takes hold, the asset class is poised for further seismic shifts in the coming years. To quote risk.net: “Commodity market participants experienced head-spinning change over the past year. Decades-old trade routes were upended and supply chains weakened following Russia’s February 2022 invasion of Ukraine, while Covid-19 lockdowns in China continued to disrupt supply and demand norms. [...] The winners of this year’s Commodity Rankings have demonstrated enormous resilience in the face of such uncertainty, remaining reliable and effective in extreme conditions.”

We can be proud of our outstanding rankings, which represent our strong client relationships and highly regarded differentiating research.
