Societe Generale named Best Bank for Transaction Services in Africa by the Banker

This award is the result of a series of instant, innovative, sustainable, and customer-friendly solutions deployed across Africa. The uniqueness of these solutions has enabled us to stand out and be ranked as the best bank in Africa thanks to their fast deployment, agility, and adoption by our customers.

Some of the solutions deployed include:

• Digital transformation with MyBusiness web and mobile cash management platform launched in some African countries
• A new service in cash clearing and correspondent banking in emerging markets lead by Societe Generale Côte d’Ivoire providing clearing capacities in two local currencies: XOF and MAD
• Supporting corporates in their energy transitionthrough the activation of green trade labelling namely sustainable import letter of credit for a “premiere” ESG transaction in Senegal
• Establishment of multiple engineering solutions to meet client’s needs such as off-balance sheet factoring helping clients in Morocco to improve their liquidity while reducing their debts
