Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking announces appointments to its syndication team

Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking (SG CIB) announces the appointments of Zvi Wohlgemuth as Head of Project Finance & Asset Backed EMEA Loan Syndicate and Laurent Vignon as Head of EMEA Corporate & Acquisition Loan Syndicate effective immediately. They both report to Damien Lamoril, Head of European Loan Syndicate. Both Laurent Vignon and Zvi Wohlgemuth replace Quentin L'Helias who has taken up a new position within the Group which will be announced at a later date.

Based in London, Zvi Wohlgemuth supervises a team covering project finance, infrastructure, asset backed and real estate deals. Zvi Wohlgemuth was previously Managing Director, Structured Finance EMEA Loan Syndicate since 2014. Based in Paris, Laurent Vignon, who has been Head of Corporate and Acquisition Syndication for Western Europe since 2012, will also lead the team responsible for all corporate and acquisition deals in CEEMEA as well as structured commodity transactions. Biographies Zvi Wohlgemuth Zvi Wohlgemuth joined Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking in 2007 as Director of Loan Sales for Project Finance and Middle East. He previously held positions at HSBC and RBS before joining the bank working on a wide range of landmark transactions in Project Finance, Reserve Based Lending and Infrastructure. In 2014, he became Managing Director, Structured Finance EMEA Loan Syndicate. He received a Bachelors in Civil and Structural Engineering (Honours) from University College London in 1999. Laurent Vignon Laurent Vignon joined Societe Generale in 1989 in the Canadian branch of the bank. He joined the Loan Syndications team in Paris in 1994, then moved to London in 1998, where he became Head of European Leveraged Syndicate in 2004. Laurent then moved to New York in 2007 to help develop the US Leveraged syndicate platform, and became Co-Head of Americas Loan Syndicate in 2009. In 2012, he was appointed Head of Corporate & Acquisition Syndicate, covering Western Europe. He graduated from ESSEC Business School in 1987 and earned a Masters in Banking & Finance from Paris Dauphine University in 1988.
