Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking appoints Yves Jacob as Senior Banker

Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking announces the appointment of Yves Jacob as Senior Banker, effective from August 1st, 2015, in replacement of Laurent Morel who is appointed Head of Debt Capital Markets for Asia Pacific.

Based in Paris, Yves Jacob will be in charge of the global relationship with International Financial Institutions.

Prior to this, he was Head of Debt Capital Markets for Asia Pacific since 2008.

Based in Paris, Yves Jacob reports to Pierre-Yves Bonnet, Global Head of Financial Institutions Group.

Biographies
Yves Jacob has over 15 years of experience in capital raising, both on the private and on the public sides. He started his career in project and TMT finance at Paribas in 1997 prior to joining Societe Generale in 2000. He moved to Debt Capital Markets in 2005, and three years later he was transferred to Hong Kong to establish a primary capital markets platform for Asia. Under his leadership, DCM operations in Asia have expanded significantly, with SG now featuring as a lead underwriter on repeat transactions across the team’s three main hubs in Hong Kong, Seoul and Singapore. Yves Jacob also contributed to the creation of SG’s Dim Sum bond platform, a fast developing market for issuers willing to raise capital in offshore Renminbi.
Yves Jacob holds an MBA degree from ESSEC business school.
