Appointment of Brendon Moran as Senior Banker

SOCIETE GENERALE CORPORATE & INVESTMENT BANKING APPOINTS NEW SENIOR BANKER, COVERING NATURAL RESOURCES & UTILITIES SECTORS IN THE UK

Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking (SG CIB) is pleased to announce the appointment of Brendon Moran as Senior Banker, covering Natural Resources & Utilities sectors in the UK, within its Coverage & Investment Banking business, effective 1st May, 2017.

Brendon will be based in London, reporting to Sadia Ricke, UK Group Chief Country Officer and Head of Coverage & Investment Banking, UK. He was previously Global Co-Head of Corporate Origination, Debt Capital Markets, within SG CIB’s Global Finance business. His replacement will be announced in due course.

In his new role, Brendon will be responsible for the coverage of predominantly UK-based multinational corporates within the natural resources & utilities sectors.
Brendon replaces Dania Seiglie who, after 38 years in the industry, of which 23 years were dedicated to Societe Generale, will retire.

Biography
Brendon Moran - Senior Banker, Natural Resources & Utilities, SG CIB 
Brendon Moran was previously Global Co-Head of Corporate Origination, Debt Capital Markets, SG CIB, responsible for all Corporate DCM activities world-wide, a position he has held since mid 2010. Prior to this Brendon was regional Head of Northern Europe (encompassing UK & Ireland, the Netherlands and
Scandinavia) for Global Capital Markets.
Brendon joined SG CIB in 2007 from ABN AMRO where he was responsible for the Capital Structuring & Advisory activity for Europe. Prior to this, Brendon's career has spanned more than 17 years in Debt Capital Markets, Corporate Finance and Relationship Banking between Europe and Australia with institutions including ABN AMRO, Deloitte & Touche, Bank of America and Westpac Banking Corporation.
