Societe Generale Named "World's Best Bank for Transaction Banking" by Global Finance
Societe Generale has won a series of 6 awards from Global Finance, including the awards for World's Best Bank for Transaction Banking, Best Bank for Financial Institutions in Western Europe, and Best Cash Management Bank in France, Cameroon, and Senegal.
After having received in January the award for Best Supply Chain Finance Provider - Bank, and in April the award for Most Innovative Bank in Western Europe from Global Finance, Societe Generale has once again been recognized with a series of global, regional, and local awards at the 25th edition of the Best Treasury and Cash Management Awards.
From a selection of 71 participating countries across all regions Global Finance has awarded the Group the following accolades:
- World's Best Bank for Transaction Banking
- Best Transaction Bank in Western Europe
- Best Bank for Financial Institutions in Western Europe (new award)
Furthermore, Societe Generale is also named the Best Bank in Cash Management in France, Cameroon, and Senegal.
Global Finance employs a very rigorous multi-tiered assessment process that includes entries from banks, providers, executives, and technology experts to select the best in treasury and cash management services.
Moreover, several factors contributed to this remarkable success at both global and regional level, including:

- The Digitrade-Doc check-tool and its SCF solution encompassing an impressive range of services and solutions.
The regional award dedicated to financial institutions was granted based on the quality of our expertise (in EUR clearing, international trade financing, cash management and factoring), the multiplicity of our innovations in instant payments, our commitment to our clients, and finally, the effective management of variable costs affecting overall operational efficiency.
