Societe Generale has been recognised at the 2025 IJGlobal ESG Awards as:

ESG APAC LENDER OF THE YEAR

The IJGlobal ESG Awards are designed to give organisations within the international infrastructure and energy community the opportunity to demonstrate how they have turned the dial on the Environmental, Social and Governance front.

Submissions highlighting performance in the previous year were reviewed and decided upon by an international judging committee comprised of established professionals in the infra/energy world.

This recognition was further reinforced by several Deal of the Year accolades bestowed to:

• ESG Europe Energy Transition Deal of the Year - NZT Power & Northern Endurance Partnership, UK

• ESG Europe EV Infrastructure Deal of the Year – AESC Sunderland EV Battery Gigafactory 2 (15.3GW), UK

• ESG Europe Infrastructure Deal of the Year – John Laing - Stegra Boden Water Treatment Plant, Sweden

• ESG APAC Impact Deal of the Year - Wellington BESS – Aboriginal Community Equity Participation, Australia

• ESG APAC Renewable Energy Deal of the Year - Fengmiao 1 Offshore Wind Farm (495MW), Taiwan
