PRIIPs: Package Retail and Insurance-based Investment Products
The Regulation (EU) of the European Parliament and of the Council of 26 November 2014 on key information documents for packaged retail and insurance-based investment products (PRIIPs) requires their manufacturers to draw up and make available to retail investors key information documents, or KIDs.
Generic KID (Key Information Documents)
On this website you will find the generic KIDs applicable to the following foreign exchange derivative products:
- Forwards (forward purchases and sales)
- Foreign exchange swaps (contracts involving the exchange of two currencies)
- NDFs (Non delivery forwards)
- Flexible forwards
These generic KIDs have been prepared for a number of currency pairs and maturities that are frequently traded, for both purchases and sales.
The numerical data contained in these documents are determined as of a specific past date, based on the market conditions prevailing at that time.
The generic KIDs take into account maximum costs and charges based on an average client credit risk rating (established using Société Générale’s internal rating). They allow you to obtain an approximation of the numerical information contained in the KID corresponding to your own product.
The performance scenarios are estimates of future performance based on past data.
