Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking (SG CIB) has been awarded Energy Finance House of the Year and Metals House of the Year by Energy Risk magazine.

The accolade for Energy Finance House of the Year which the bank has won for the fifth time in six years  is testament to the bank’s expertise and commitment to meet the advisory, financing and risk management needs of its customers in the natural resources sector and in particular the energy space.

For the Metals House of the Year award, this is the fourth time in five years that Societe General Corporate & Investment Banking has been recognised in the Metals space by Energy Risk.   SG CIB has over 30 years of continued leadership in the commodities markets and this has been recently enhanced with the integration of Newedge and the purchase of the Barclays financial base metals portfolio from Barclays Bank PLC and the agreement with Jefferies to transfer selected assets from Jefferies Bache, consisting mainly of futures execution & clearing activities.
