Societe Generale awarded by Global Finance

We are pleased to announce that Societe Generale won multiple awards during the 21st edition of the Trade Finance Awards organised by Global Finance

The Group was named Global winner as Best Bank for Trade Finance in Emerging Markets for the second year in a row and Regional winner in Western Europe

Most of all, Societe Generale has been awarded Best Trade Finance Provider by the editorial board of Global Finance in the following countries: 

Algeria (Societe Generale Algeria)
Burkina Faso (Societe Generale Burkina Faso)
, pitched for the first time this year
Cameroon (Societe Generale Cameroun)
France (Societe Generale)
Morocco (Societe Generale Morocco) 
Romania (BRD)
Senegal (Societe Generale Senegal)      

For this new edition, Global Finance Magazine selected the World’s Best Trade Finance Providers of the year in 102 countries and eight regions of the US. 

The editorial board of Global Finance selected the best trade finance providers based on entries from banks and other providers, as well as input from industry analysts, corporate executives and technology experts. Criteria from choosing the winners included transaction volume, scope of global coverage, customer service, competitive pricing and innovative technology.
